On June 10th, 2017, the Second Congregational Church of Kittery presents A Ragtime Concert with William Ogmundson. It begins at 3:00 PM at 33 Government Street in Kittery, Maine. Tickets are $15.00; children are admitted for free. The church is handicapped accessible.
Proceeds of the concert will go to benefit The Table of Plenty.
William Ogmundson is an Emmy Award nominated composer and professional pianist. He began performing at the age of 5, and went on to win numerous piano competitions while in school. He has also been the featured pianist for the New Hampshire Music Festival Orchestra four times. Most notably, he has performed at the Vatican and Notre Dame de Paris. His original compositions have been performed worldwide.
In this concert, Ogmundson will be performing ragtime classics by Scott Joplin and others, as well as Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin and some patriotic marches by John Philip Sousa.
